Der Schal ist eine Hommage an Berlin und ihre schönste Nacht: ausgelöst durch die Pressekonferenz der DDR-Regierung durch Günther Schabowski, strömten erst hunderte, dann tausende Berliner zur Mauer und forderten ihre Öffnung. Mit Erfolg! Die Stimmen aus der Pressekonferenz und von der Bornholmer Brücke wurden in diesem Endlosschal verstrickt. Zum Nachhören hier:

This scarf is an hommage to our city Berlin and its most famous night: after the press conference of the goverment of the former GDR, represented by Günther Schabowski, thousands of Berliner came to the Berlin Wall to reclaim its opening. Successfully! The voices of the press conference and of the people out on the street were transferred and knitted for this endless scarf. Listen to it here:
